DRIVING DIRECTIONS 

 For those of us who don't have a GPS type navigation system in our cars, these services can not only save time and money, but can also keep us from getting lost completely on the road.

 I remember the days when you would have to look things up on small, hard to read map, to get driving directions or if you were a member of AAA, they would give you a trip-ticket if you were going out of town (a small series of maps from your starting point to your ending point) I think they still offer the trip-ticket service.

On the navigation bar to the left, are hyperlinks to other pages which give a listing on each of the major online mapping services. I comment about ease of use, features, ect. I did the research, so that you can make the best choice.

No one likes to be lost. It is frustrating and then you start to get angry. If it is dark out or heavy traffic, that is when you really start wishing you would have figured out your driving directions, and where to go before you got on the road. A couple simple ideas to use the next time you decide to road trip it would be, get directions before you leave. If simply asking a friend is not sufficient, and you do not feel like going to a convenient store and purchasing a map, all you need to do is get online.

Not even five minutes of your time will save you possibly hours of hassle and yelling. Get online and search for driving directions. Ihis will usually bring up either MapQuest or GoogleMaps or YahooMaps. These three are great tools to figure out where you need to go. They are all simple and best of all, all free. You just have to get on, no signing up or anything, and type in the where you are currently located and where you wish to go. It will give you very clear, step b y step instructions on how to get where you are looking to go.

Driving directions do not need to be harder than you make them. Take the time to either get online and print off the directions, or have them sent to your mobile phone. If you do not own a computer, Driving Directions can be found by purchasing a map at a gas station or asking someone, like a friend or relative. There are a million ways you can get Driving Directions without having to ask someone you do not know, or just "winging it".

It will almost always turn out bad if you think you can get there without help. Asking for help is not a big deal and will take little of your time. Same time and energy by preparing for a trip before you start it. Get driving directions and have back up plans. It will ensure that you get to your destination safely and timely and you will not be so upset when you get there because it took an extra two hours due to traffic or stubbornness.
